Thanks to this solution, every interaction on board the Agribus becomes a certified piece of data: the driver is no longer just a transporter, but an active node in the network that validates workers’ passages in real time through dedicated tablets.
The integration of NFC and QR Code technology enables instant and secure check-in, ensuring not only full route traceability, but also precise and automatic reporting of usage data. This system reduces waiting times and human error while giving companies and institutions a transparent and continuous view of bus occupancy rates, turning transport into a data-driven welfare service.
PWA, NFC, and QR Code
Agrimove’s architecture is built on an advanced technological stack, based on Ruby on Rails for backend logic and React for the frontend interface. This configuration supports the two sides of the system: a web panel for administrators to manage companies, users, stops, routes, and trip scheduling, and a PWA designed for the day-to-day operational management of drivers.
The choice of PWA radically changes the interaction with the service: unlike native applications, it does not require app store downloads, complex installation processes, or manual updates. It is instantly accessible through a simple link, ensuring that the driver always has the latest version of the software and universal compatibility across smartphones.
To this versatility is added the advanced integration of NFC and QR Code technology. These tools allow drivers to validate workers’ passages in real time, starting and ending journeys quickly. QR Codes were kept to ensure continuity with the previous year and provide a reliable alternative for validation. Thanks to this reading process, each trip becomes a certain and traceable data point: the server uniquely recognizes the badge or user code at each passage, turning the journey into a secure, fast, and fully monitored operation.

The real value of a project like Agrimove is measured not only by technological efficiency, but also by the tangible change it brings to the daily lives of agricultural companies and workers. Longstanding partners such as EBAT recognized the significance of this innovation from the start, seeing in the system not merely a logistical response, but a strategic asset for corporate welfare.
